UVA and UVB rays can penetrate right through make-up and burn your skin!
It's important to keep your face protected from the sun. Although, many make-up items come with UVA and UVB sunscreen in them, it's still a good idea to apply sunscreen under your foundation to protect your skin from burning.
Most Foundations such as MAC, Clinique + Chanel have SPF Protection...whereas other brands like Maybelline Matte Mousse + Superstay Foundation does NOT contain SPF.
TIP!!
1.Purchase a bottle of Spray Sunscreen (of your ideal factor) from your nearest Boots, Chemist or supermarket. I prefer Nivea Spray Sunscreen.
2. Close your eyes and spray 2-3 time on your face and massage all over, covering your face and neck....do not get this in your eyes!
3. Let your skin absorb the sunscreen and then evenly apply your foundation on top.
4. You are now protected from the Sun! Go out and have fun! :)
